Group visits

Discover the history of Raeren pottery during a guided visit through the Pottery Museum Raeren. Learn everything about the rediscovery of an age-old craft, the beginnings of pottery in Raeren, its influence on the world and its sudden decline.

We offer a wide range of topics tailored to meet the composition and wishes of your group. For children of all ages as well as for adult groups we also offer interactive tours allowing participants to actively explore the treasures and stories hidden behind the exhibits.
For small groups (max. 15 persons) it is furthermore possible to combine a guided visit with a workshop in our on-site pottery studio.

Visually impaired visitors

For visually impaired visitors we offer a special program, lasting about two hours. Accompanied by specially trained guides, visually impaired visitors explore the history of Raeren stoneware as well as of the historic Raeren castle with their other senses. In order to be able to guarantee the good quality of our offer, the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 10 people (companions not included).

Hiking “On the traces of the Raeren potters”

For those who do not only wish to explore the museum but also the small village of Raeren we offer a guided hiking tour through the surroundings of the Raeren castle, the protected scenery of Raeren and past historic buildings and places.
